Who Pays for Home Health Services?

Medicare covers 100% of qualifying home health services when ordered by a physician, even if the patient has not been hospitalized.

What If I Don’t Have a Primary Physician?
If you do not currently have a physician to authorize home health care, we can speak with your family or friends for recommendations. If none are available, Angelus Home Health will assist you in selecting a physician who listens attentively and respects your health concerns.
Need Help Getting to Your Doctor’s Appointments?
If transportation is a barrier, we will coordinate arrangements through our staff or trusted vendors to ensure you can attend your medical appointments safely and on time.
Coordinated Services Beyond Our Organization
While certain services may fall outside the scope of our direct offerings, we are committed to supporting patients by facilitating access to trusted external providers. Upon request, arrangements can be made for the following coordinated services:

Durable Medical Equipment (DME): Procurement and setup of mobility aids, safety devices, and other essential equipment.

Pharmacy Services: Coordination for prescription fulfillment, medication management, and consultation.

Registered Dietitian: Nutritional assessment and personalized dietary planning to support health goals.

Transportation Services: fall outside the scope of our direct services, but we are committed to ensuring you can attend your scheduled medical appointments. When needed, we will coordinate transportation through our staff or trusted contracted vendors to help you reach your physician safely and on time.
